Hi there, thanks for stopping by!

I write about religion, music and pop culture. For my international friends, I live in the U.K, and naturally, my perspective will be influenced by this. I completed my PhD in Musicology at the University of Bristol. I work at the University of York as a researcher and lecturer in music. My main research is in the field of popular music and religion. My current interest is in musicians who have been trained in gospel music but are sought after in popular music.
